The Mission:

Longines Masters of Hong Kong is one of the world’s top indoor show jumping events taking place at AsiaWorld-Expo.

GHC Asia was a partner for 2016 and 2017 supporting with PR and social media activations.

Our aim was to build momentum in the lead up to the show and position it as the social and sporting calendar event through our key messages framework of ‘More Than Showjumping’, ‘Bigger And Better’, and ‘Highest Standards’.

 

What We Did

  • Dedicated pitches were created to attract regional coverage and with high profile sponsors and partners
  • Social media tactics were employed to drive awareness and engagement, including: social media management, live-feed of competition results, partnership outreach, special GIF design and on-site video campaign
  • Over 900 pieces of coverage generated across Greater China and Asia Pacific
  • Nearly 700% increase on Facebook engagement and 1416% of Instagram.
  • Management of 315 media and selected influencers who attended the events
