Shanghai became one nightlife destination richer last night with the grand opening celebration of CÉ LA VI. The chic lounge, bar, and restaurant concept with locations in Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, and Colombo has taken up residence at Bund 27, also known as the “House of Roosevelt”.
CÉ LA VI brings with it a creative list of craft cocktails, an expertly prepared menu of Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Oscar Toro, and, with its distinctive terrace, some of the finest skyline views available in the city. Last night (November 20), CÉ LA VI opened its doors to a select few who got to experience the stylish, contemporary space that alludes to the building’s neoclassical aesthetics and features subtle motifs of modern Chinoiserie. Design comes courtesy of the renowned firm Samantha Eades Design.
This opening was an exclusive, invitation-only prelude to CÉ LA VI’s public event this Friday, November 22 at 10pm. Here is a taste of what you missed last night and hint of what’s in store for you this Friday…
