Despite the current troubled times and woeful occupancies, there are still some exciting new hotels to come later this year, starting with sleek boutique The Silveri, part of Accor Hotel’s MGallery brand.
Set to open around May this year, The Silveri is a stylish lifestyle hotel located in Tung Chung, on Lantau island. It takes its name and inspiration from the silver mines which once populated the island.
The hotel will feature resort style rooms overlooking lush green gardens, with signature suites that, uniquely for Hong Kong, have private plunge pools or terraces with Jacuzzis. The hotel is the first of Accor’s M Gallery collection to open in Greater China.
Set to open: May 2020
Location: Tung Chung district of Lantau Island
