Lynn Grebstad

Lynn Grebstad has more than twenty five years' experience in the international hospitality and public relations industries in Europe and Asia. Following a hotel and airline career in the UK, Lynn moved to Hong Kong in 1982 and shortly thereafter joined the legendary Peninsula Hong Kong as director of public relations.

In 1986 Lynn moved to The Regent – the flagship of the prestigious Regent International hotel group. During her tenure The Regent was voted the world's top hotel by a series of leading international publications, notably the Institutional Investor, Conde Nast Traveler and Business Traveller. In 1992 Lynn joined The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Limited, as director of corporate communications responsible for both The Peninsula Group and the company's property and development division.

She left the company in 1994 to establish Lynn D Grebstad & Associates, her own consultancy specialising in marketing and public relations for luxury hotels and in 1998 this was merged with Paul J Hicks & Associates to form Grebstad Hicks Communications.

Paul Hicks was educated at Oxford University where he obtained a BA Honours degree in English Literature. After a brief stint as a theatre director, Paul moved to Hong Kong in the late '80s where he became a producer and presenter of news and current affairs television programmes for Radio Television Hong Kong as well as a local for international broadcast networks, and then a reporter for the BBC and Thames Television.

Since 1993 he has been a travel writer and PR consultant providing strategic counsel and handling media relations for a wide range of travel, tourism and luxury lifestyle clients, which has given him the opportunity to travel the world extensively and become an expert on luxury hotels and resorts.

Paul still regularly contributes travel articles to leading regional and international publications and is the Asia Pacific editor for American Express Centurion and Platinum magazines. He also speaks Cantonese and Thai.

Gary Kitching

Gary Kitching was born in South Africa and completed postgraduate studies in Comparative Literature at Rhodes University. Gary was on the editorial team of a number of newspapers and magazines in South Africa from 1990 until moving to Hong Kong in 1998. He was for three years the Managing Editor of HK Magazine and WHERE Hong Kong, until transferring to Singapore to oversee I-S Magazine and WHERE Singapore. He was also closely involved in a number of custom publishing titles including Changi Express. In 2005 Gary moved back to Hong Kong to join GHC.

As Associate Director at Grebstad Hicks Communications, Minnie's role encompasses account leadership, international business development and general management responsibilities. Based in Hong Kong, she leads a client account servicing team focused on strategy development, senior client consul and overseeing the implementation of creative marketing communications solutions. Minnie works closely with clients in a range of sectors including hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism destinations and luxury lifestyle products.

Hong Kong born, Minnie has lived and worked in Australia. She joined GHC in 2000 and is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. She has a wide rage of experience in PR and marketing, with previous marketing and event management experience in Hong Kong Tourism Board and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Administration.

Gary Yu is our Managing Director for China, based in Shanghai. He leads GHC Asia's continued development into the mainland China market.

Born in Hong Kong, Gary is a public relations and marketing professional with more than 18 years of experience. He is specialised in consumer and corporate communications and experienced in other disciplines such as corporate reputation, direct marketing, consumer promotional campaigns, and event management. He was recently the Public Relations & Communications Department Manager of Ngong Ping 360, one of Hong Kong's premier tourist attractions.

While working for international public relations agencies as, for example, head of consumer PR, Gary gained extensive regional experience planning and developing marketing and public relations campaigns and events. He previously worked in China, stationed in Guangzhou, leading several consumer projects for a multinational company.

Based in Singapore, Patrick Keenan is our Managing Director for Southeast Asia. He leads the Singapore team, with responsibility for conceptualizing strategic and tactical communications programs and providing senior counsel for our clients in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Patrick has extensive public relations and public affairs experience, having worked with global public relations agencies in several practice areas, including branding, consumer marketing, corporate communications, product campaigns, CSR/stakeholder relations, training and issues and crisis management.

Rhoda Adams is a seasoned multi-lingual PR and Marketing professional who has worked across disciplines in PR, marketing and advertising in China, Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Rhoda's background is in consumer public relations, covering both the mass and the luxury market. She has worked with a number of multinational companies such as Marriott International and Princess Cruises. Her luxury lifestyle experience includes six year tenure with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in United Arab Emirates and then as part of the pre-opening team of the luxury waterfront resort Sharq Village & Spa in Doha, Qatar.

Rhoda gained her PR experience in China as part of the pre opening team of the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing a flagship property within the Hilton portfolio in Asia. In this role, she established a press club in Beijing to promote the hotel as a luxury lifestyle experience, as well as playing an instrumental role in organizing international media fam trips for the hotel during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Rhoda holds a Bachelors degree in International Business from Stamford Hill University, UK.
